On October 28, 2023, at Van Saun Park, the APC Missions led a few members as we participate in the “Walk Together Against Domestic Violence”, a fund-raiser by the Center for Hope and Safety in Bergen County.

A few of us stayed at our vendor table, offering New Testament Bibles, Gospel tracts and prayers.

Most of the team, led by Jessie Tombalakian, walked with the participants. They were led to hand out New Testament Bibles, Gospel tracts and to talk to people about Jesus.

October is Domestic Awareness month, so the Center for Hope and Safety holds the annual “Walk Together Against Domestic Violence” but it is just one of their activities to raise funds and to raise awareness of the needs of the organization which supports the victims of domestic violence and their families.

We support the organization by holding donation drives twice a year (spring and fall), mostly in goods needed to shelter the women (mostly) and their young children.
